A handsome sterling silver English medal fob with a round shield of applied gold. This piece dates to the beginning of World War I. The medal is a balanced cross, with engraved budded arms. The shield is engraved with initials so ornate it is difficult to interpret them, we think it reads "AD." The back of the medal is hand engraved with an accordion marked "Killarney." This fob will look fabulous worn on one of our Ancient Influences married chains.

The piece is hallmarked for Birmingham, sterling silver and the year 1916. It is also signed with the maker's mark L&W.
